All new X-ray machines must be inspected within 90 days of installation.
Any x-ray machine that has been relocated or had its electrical components replaced must be re-inspected.
Intraoral, panoramic, and cephalometric X-rays are to be inspected every 3 years.
Handheld and CBCT x-rays are to be inspected annually.
